Our Vision

Coral Academy of Science is a tuition-free K-12 public school of choice located in Reno, Nevada with an emphasis on “S.T.E.A.M.” education. With Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts, and Math at the core of Coral Academy’s curriculum, a caring staff, and highly-qualified teachers, we uniquely prepare students to succeed in college and secure high-earning, competitive, and rewarding careers after college.

Sponsored by the Washoe County School District and fully-accredited by AdvanceED, CAS adheres to the national and state standards of excellence, while also allowing students to choose enrichment courses, participate in clubs, and compete in NIAA league-sanctioned athletic opportunities.

We believe parents have the right to choose the best option for their student’s education. We invite parents to be actively involved while providing their students with hands-on, creative outlets for learning.

With phenomenal college-acceptance rates, a respectful community of peers, and teachers who are invested in the philosophy of education, CAS students excel and make great strides toward successful futures.

As a tuition-free public charter school, we afford teachers the opportunity to customize their instruction in a trusted, autonomous environment. Our teachers have the freedom to create personalized lessons with the support of our collaborative staff. Coral Academy of Science encourages teachers to supplement, modify and even develop curriculums that best suit our diverse student population. And of course, our families are committed to proactive roles in their student’s education.
