CAS provides many after school clubs to encourage personal growth, leadership potential, cooperative relationships, and community spirit. We encourage in and out of school competitions for developing academic, social, and behavioral skills in our students. Each year we offer different varieties of clubs, and are currently offering choices such as: chess, robotics, soccer, literature club, art, student council, MathCounts, geography club, Lego robotics, Science Olympiads, world language clubs, MathMatters competition, and SimCity competition. Mrs.Dede Programming Club Programming club aims to teach basic
programming using a fun scenario-based
approach to students with little or no
previous coding experience by using the
Tynker learning platform. Tynker is a
complete learning system that teaches
kids to code. Kids begin experimenting
with visual blocks, then progress to
JavaScript and Python as they design
games, build apps, and make incredible projects.

acting process which involves playing a
part in a play and learning how to
improvise. We will perform a play in the fall and spring.

Math Competition series and enable
students to find the beauty and joy of
Math. In addition to meet once a week,
students will do weekly homework which
