CAS provides many after school clubs to encourage personal growth, leadership potential, cooperative relationships, and community spirit. We encourage in and out of school competitions for developing academic, social, and behavioral skills in our students. Each year we offer different varieties of clubs, and are currently offering choices such as: chess, robotics, soccer, literature club, art, student council, MathCounts, geography club, Lego robotics, Science Olympiads, world language clubs, MathMatters competition, and SimCity competition. | Mrs.Dede | Programming Club | Programming club aims to teach basic programming using a fun scenario-based approach to students with little or no previous coding experience by using the Tynker learning platform. Tynker is a complete learning system that teaches kids to code. Kids begin experimenting with visual blocks, then progress to JavaScript and Python as they design games, build apps, and make incredible projects. |
